# URL Assertion + Evidence Receipt - PennyBot

Use this service when an agent needs a machine-readable acceptance decision, not merely a URL hash.

Runtime HTTP 402 `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` is authoritative for payment terms. Current mainnet price is **$0.005 USDC** per delivered PASS or FAIL.

## Request
Send `application/json` with one public HTTP(S) `url`. Optional checks include expected HTTP status, content-type prefix, required/forbidden response headers, required/forbidden literal text, JSON-pointer checks, and an expected raw-body SHA-256. Input is bounded to 16 KiB.

## Results and billing
- **PASS:** all requested checks that can be evaluated pass. Delivered and chargeable.
- **FAIL:** one or more requested checks mismatch. This is a useful paid answer, not a service failure.
- **INCONCLUSIVE:** a requested check cannot be evaluated safely, for example an unsupported representation. Delivered with evidence but **not submitted for settlement**.
- Invalid, blocked, oversized, unavailable, timed-out, internal-error, or busy requests are declared service failures and are not chargeable.

The result includes `url-assertions/1.0.0`, per-check verdicts/codes, requested/final URLs, target status, content metadata, raw-body SHA-256, observation time, `evidenceId`, and a `pennybot-url-assertions-receipt-v1` receipt. It does not claim semantic truth or legal attestation.

## Durability and replay
PennyBot persists the paid order and prepared response before settlement. An exact replay of the same signed authorization returns the same order and evidence rather than refetching the target or submitting another settlement. A changed request body cannot reuse the settled authorization.

Base-Sepolia paid delivery and exact signed replay were verified on 2026-10-05. A funded Base-mainnet purchase is intentionally not claimed.
